Caller: Someone who said they were from some Electricity agency

I've had a couple of these calls the last week or so from various apparently interstate nos, albeit trying to use different stories. This one followed a string of bogus questions for which I provided equally bogus answers. When it got just too ridiculous to carry on the charade, I confronted her with, "This clearly is a scam and not a legitimate call. Goodbye!"

I have a supposed silent number?? How do these scammers get a silent number? I’m sick of them they don’t respect @Do not call” register which is useless as our Government couldn’t care less.

Calls on a Sunday does not leave a message... BLOCK IT. Complete losers...

Some bs about my electricity bill

Yet another call about my energy bill. Another Indian call centre.

I asked to speak to her manager (Karen style) but was refused. She told me the company was 'Beat Energy'. I explained I would be reporting them. She told me to do so, she doesn't care.

I blame the idiots who actually sign up to these scams - it gives them the incentive to keep bothering the rest of us.

Caller: Scammer identified as Liam

Claimed to be calling in regard to my electricity account, when I asked exactly who he was supposed to be representing he hung up. This call was preceded by two robocall scams in the previous hour.

Caller: not sure

didn't recognise the number and now, having read the comments, glad I didn't answer

Did not pick up. Tried to call back. Call ended. Given the responses here, I will put in contacts to not pick up.

Caller: Some Indian dude

He asked if I received an email regarding to the recent increase in electric bill. I said I don't pay bills my husband does then I hung up. Obviously from a call centre in India as he has a very strong Indian accent.

Hung up once I answered & terminated attempted call to their # after 1 ring.
Based on evidence below going to block.

Caller: rude scammers

Some disgusting scammers trying to get your personal details saying that they can get you a better rate for your electricity even if you tell them you’re not interested they get angry and forceful I hang up on them and they call back immediately very angry that I had disconnected the call so now I’ve blocked them

I keep getting the same number calling me! I have blocked the number but it is still coming through! So over it! They call 3 times a day!

Another scam call from the Indian scammers pretending to be an Energy Provider. Block this number as soon as you get it.

I never answer a call that is not on my contacts. Then I block it. If genuinely important a message will be left. 9 times out of 10-never.

Yet another scam caller....

They called and left no voicemail today. I called back and got an engaged signal.
