Caller: Some lady with an accent

She called, she already knew my name? and said she was calling in regards to an electricity bill I have nothing under my name. Then she asked if I was the one who pays the bills and I said no then she said ok thanks bye. fishy

I called back number (03) 7019 6850 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Guy called and started his pitch (it was on a progressive dialer so I knew straight away) - I said I wasnt interested and Asked how I get taken off the list. He shouted back at me "how do you even know what the call is about?!". Once I asked to be taken off their whole database and not just the list he hung up on me (didnt even confirm I had been taken off which is illegal). I gave him well over 3 refusals. If this is a genuine company they are very unethical.

Some advice to help others, those with newer Samsung phones, report the call as "Spam & Fraud"
A few years ago, Samsung bought Hiya, this is the service that displays a name on your phone when someone calls you, (this name is not saved in your phone book).

Anyways long story short, report as spam to help others.

SCAM - Energy Savers more like Energy Scammers couldn't eve pronounce my name told me his name was Eric Watson. told him not interested and laughed. asked to speak to his manager told me he was the boss told him you're full of sh*t and reporting him to the ombudsman and hung up.

Scammers they are using the name from government website that offer the rebate to change your electric hot water service - calls from Sydney numbers with 02 prefix takes a while to get through -

First person on the phone was more helpful. The asshat guy who called back was abrasive and rude.

They said they are from energy savers.. they asked if I received the mail about reducing the rates.. when I said no, they hung up

from Energy Savers - knew my husband's name which my mobile is registered under. wanted to know how much I pay for my energy bill so she can compare and give me a better deal. when I asked where she was calling from, she said "Victoria" so when i asked "where in Victoria?" she abruptly said "forget it"!! and hung up.

phone numbers used include: 0480 026 286 today, 0480 048 827 and 037138809821 in the past, but they were missed calls as i didn't answer. looks like they keep acquiring new phone numbers to avoid suspicion perhaps??

Keep on calling but saw who they were on this page so blocked them.

Told them that I was not interested and that I had been contacted by one of their colleagues previously and had asked for them not to call me again. The agent then said “don’t lie, we have never called you” then hung up. Good result, bad customer service.

Been called up 2x in the beginning of July 2020.
Everytime the I picked up the call disconnected.

100% a spoofed call from overseas. They'll use an Aussie caller ID.

Best thing is to block the number on your phone
