Claimed we had won $500 from coles. Knew the name and address. When suggested they knew so much they could post the prize they hung up.

I called back number (03) 7018 9586 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

This number is the number of a company called HAP .
Do not buy any products from this company as you won't get what you ordered and they keep the money.

I had a call from this number and have had similar calls and texts about the $1000 voucher from other numbers too. Happens a lot since I signed up for an online shopping account with Woolworths. Makes me think my details have been compromised in some way.

Caller: ... said they provided comparison costs for electricity supply.

... had my name phone no and address. told me I was being confirmed for a competition prize - just needed my Licence or medicare number. I put them off but they called again later. When I was not prepared to share ID they hung up with explanation. SCAM.

When i listened to my voicemail - it was just very loud noise - people talking in background,

SCAM. Rude and pathetic. Said that I won $1000 and tried to covince me to switch electricity company. When i said that I am not interested he said "i wish you die from Coronavirus"! Sick people really

When I asked him to take my number off the computer System, he proceeded to call me pathetic and then when I asked for his manager, he asked if I could wait and I said yes I can, then he said so you’ll be waiting all your life and hung up.
He was so rude

Don’t pick up, scam

Same one called me. Asked me if I remembered registering online to win $1000 a few months ago. I told him no and hung up. It was so loud in the background that I could barely hear him. Dead giveaway it was a scam.

how can we stop these bozos have block on numbers not in contacts. this type of cold calling happens regularly

Caller: Indian call centre claiming to represent Coles.

Claimed that I had been short listed to win $1000 from a Coles promotion from long ago. Asked that I keep my phone turned on for the coming week. To "prove" that it legit, they quoted my postcode and email address to me. They then stated to also represent some electrical power comparison service and after asking if the power was connected either in my name or if I could make changes to the account, they just hanged up when I said I couldn't make any changes to the power account.

Caller: Did not give company name

When asked who he was, gave an obviously fake name, Johnny Bubbles. Called back and answering service has no business name.

Indian call centre saying that i was shortlisted to win an iPhone Red.
