Random call claimed to be Taylor Smith (cute) from National Energy compare (never heard of them & can't find any reference to them on the internet). It is a strange telephone number as well for Victoria. I told them the person that looks after energy contracts was unavailable & would call them back if they need further info. Promptly forgot the number

National Energy compare call centre member demanding to know who we were with and that I needed to give them the current provider and they would then help compare rates, when I explained I was uncomfortable to provide the information I was promptly told me he wasn't going to sell me anything and that I need only tell who my retailor was. I explained again that I was uncomfortable with this call and I knew nothing about them.
Given this is an outbound call centre I would expect them to tell me the call was recorded for coaching and quality purposes. I ended the call advising if they knew who we were then they need to email to us. There is nothing I can find on line about this company except for the scam call listed here.

Agree with all other comments. It's dodgy. Asked the caller to stop calling and he got aggressive and rude. Do not answer.

They have called us multiple times now asking to speak to someone about our energy accounts, and we have told them we aren't interested every time. Either a cold call or a scam call, either way they are persistent and and the calls are unsolicited.

So dodgy. Cold called while we're all trying to clean up after floods, and when pushed on what their service was, tried to insinuate that they're an information service trying to see if we're paying too much for electricity.

Once I got them to admit there was an option to sign up for something through them, I blocked and reported the number for spam

Received a call from this organisation claiming to represent our power provider despite not advising who what was! She wanted to tell me about rate changes that our provider had not advised of. She wanted to know our national meter id number from our bill. I hung up after this. Called Powershop to be told they have no knowledge of this outfit, and they certainly don't represent them!
