Caller: (03) 7008 8721 I don’t answer, but they ring almost daily without leaving a message. They have various numbers with the same first four numbers. You block one number and get you the next time with a new iteration.

Looking at my blocked numbers on my phone , this number starting in 7008-xxxx is blocked several times.
As soon as I see these i dont bother answering. Not interested in who it is either as its scam calls or marketing or both. After answering alot of these calls , thank god the human brain can recognise numbers like (03) 7008 8721 patterns . Its a pity the phone makers like apple and samsung cant use AI to recognize.the patterns. They are part of the bigger problem with the communications industry. Its too easy and no responibility.to have a dud number.

I get attempted scam calls every day, always 2 every weekday afternoon. This time, they tried a few times from a different number, then 15 minutes later tried this one. I use an app to block all unknown callers. These guys always use fake landline interstate numbers - my area code is (08) so I have no reason to accept calls from 02, 03, 07. When you are obviously blocking them and they know that you know a scammer is trying to call, why do they think if they just try a different number you will believe them next time! You just blocked 5 random numbers in a row in 5 minutes, maybe you'll believe number 6? You can just imagine it - "try a Brisbane number! Try Adelaide! Sydney! Perth! Country towns! All Australians are rich and stupid so it's OK, just keep trying!" Just remember, they have computer skills and they speak English, so they have an education - they are the privileged ones already. They are not poor and unfortunate victims of circumstance, they're greedy criminals trying to rob you.
