Called today, i did not recognise the number, but remembered it being a solicutation for money call previuosl.

Was followed by a second call from a "Priat Number" within a minute, also unanswered.
No voicmail messages left by either.

I called back number (03) 6288 6803 reached voice mail for a company called RSPCA regarding a charity raffle.

To those who are OK donating to the RSPCA. Keep in mind that telephone soliciting companies are paid by many worthy organizations to raise funds for them. Unfortunately, most of your donation or raffle ticket purchase through such a call goes to the telemarketing company and not the charity. Donate directly to the charity instead.

I donated once ages ago and they harass me constantly with calls from this number (03) 6288 6803, private number, and few different mobile numbers. I save their numbers in my contacts RSPCA 1, RSPCA 2... etc so I know if it's them. So annoying!

so what you are saying is - my private mobile number has been given to a third party without my permission so that they can cold call me . When the RSPCA puts back the Launceston TAS RSPCA and the Burwood Vic RSPCA dogs shelter I might entertain their uninvited call

Have received calls from this number at least 15 times in 2022 and twice already in 2023. I block the number and check again in a few minutes, to find it isn’t blocked. Have my number on the Do Not Call Register - seems to be useless too.
Have now contacted ACMA and given them proof - and permission to contact the caller. waiting to see what happens now.

Call disconnects when answered. So, I rang it back. A recording of man's friendly voice saying it's RSPCA, (Dogs Home) - if you are interested, get in touch with them etc. A marketing call obviously, and they are allowed to do this to raise funds of course. But I'm not in a position to donate to anyone, so have blocked the number. After 5x other calls yesterday from numbers both Internet generated and from within Australia, some claiming to be Bigpond, Broadband, Technical bodies etc. I'm really over having a phone! Strange how they can be inactive for weeks, then the minute you go on the Internet to do a bit of History research........they come thick and fast.

Scammer, saying please call back , my bank acc, is frozen.

Tired of being called by this number. In past week 8 calls which hang up as soon as I answer. I don’t return calls to numbers I don’t recognise
