Received a missed call from this number for the second day in a row. On calling back the number has a message saying that "Optus advises the mobile you have called is disconnected", so it seems like it was a scammer that was shut down by the telco.

Scammer that calls multiple times and hangs up after a few seconds. Calls on regular basis from a series of similar phone numbers - all starting with 03 6159 94... - Phone ID comes up as from Hobart but it sounds like an Indian call centre from background noise.

Caller left a voicemail which was just them breathing into the phone deliberately for 30 seconds, then hung up. It sounded like there were residential noises in the background - birds, someone talking a little bit, a couple of kitchen noises maybe. Didn’t sound like a call centre, so possibly a prank caller as someone else here said.

I received a call on my landline phone on the 5/08/2025. I said Hello twice, and there was no response and then suddenly I heard a woman's voice before she hung up on me. To anyone who receives a call from the above number it is a typical prank caller being stupid.!! Please hang up on this idiot.!!
