SMS from unknown source, phone flagged it as ‘suspected spam’

This number has been associated with energy call scams across the internet - (03) 6159 9409 - (03) 6159 9409 has become notorious among users for being linked to scam activities, particularly concerning dubious offers related to energy deals. Reports indicate this number is often used by scammers from overseas attempting to phish personal information or sell fake products. Very aggressive caller with Indian accents, but very good English. Well trained efficient scammers that know your name and some personal information. It's important that you report this to ACMA, ASIC and the ACCC.

Indian scam centre call. Had a missed call from a Hobert number, when I called back a woman with thick Indian accent answered. All she said was hello in her accent so I don't think she spoke very good English. I called back a second time just to be sure and a younger Indian male answered but there was a lot of background noise so it was hard to hear them or decipher what they were saying so I hung up. Must be an Indian telemarketing operation.

Scammer that keeps calling and hangs up a few seconds after you answer. Heard noises in the background, so not sure if a call centre of household noises but the same as (03) 9159 9499 and a series of other similar numbers, so I suspect it's a call centre scammer. background voices have an Indian accent though, so most likely an overseas scam call centre using a fake Australian number that comes up from Hobart on my phone.
