Call from Hobart. no mesage left- assume scam so blocked.

I picked up, and it was an auto message asking about who I would vote for it an election was held tomorrow. It gave Matthew Guy and Dan Andrews as options so I listened for a bit then hung up. I think it’s from leaving my contact number for a comp for the Melbourne Royal Show to possibly get free tickets and they sold our phone numbers.

When I call back no ringtone and obviously a scammer as this number does not work and 3 times called us yet no message left

Like the others came up as Hobart. Do not know anyone there. If a survey they have a hide calling Sunday but do not know for certain (only looking at other complaints).

Called from a Hobart location. Didn’t answer the call, not a message left but will assume it was a nuisance call considering the above track record. As an old Optus customer, unsure if it’s related to personal details being released or not.

ive just received a call from this number and they called, hung up to immediately redial my number. I don't know the number and never answer and I switched off my answering service on my mobile too because of Scam calls and Scammers. If its from a Govt agency for voting then I think its extremely bad and should be banned. Im sick to death of these Scammers and esp with an Election coming up, its the pits. I wish it was banned.

Dont think it was from the show, we have not been to the show for 10 years and this number has called me twice this week.

Recorded message for a "community engagement survey". I put on mute and they hung up after about a minute.
