Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Charity Choice. They are a mob who cold call trying to get personal information so that they can generate leads for charity donations. Have had them before - very persistent. If you don't want to be besieged with further calls or be cajoled into donating with an outrageously high commission cost, just tell them you don't answer such calls and hang up. As other commenters note they use auto diallers which often hang up on you before you answer, an extremely irritating process. They do not respect the do not call register, and rely on an exemption which in my opinion is being abused.

Why has it gotten to a point now where you hesitate to answer your own phone hey, remember the days you'd freely do it,can't now.

Wow! so many complaints! Interesting how mine came up as +61 supposedly from Australia. Blocked, but as indicated, they seem to have an endless supply of numbers. Why does this not raise red flags with Gov monitoring?

Randomly calls every few weeks, never replies when I answer. They seem to have a suite of phone numbers they use.

Have received two calls from this number in 24 hours. I’ve received 5 calls from various locations in Victoria, over the last few days with different numbers

So over this BS… same numbers several times a day… I answer they hang up… ring back…not connected… time for the telcos and government to put a stop your this harassment
