Caller: Country Victoria

Scam artist trying to scam for money. Wanting my cares card details for a fake charity that doesn’t even exist. Little girl who creates fake email addresses by using different Sim cards numbers giving me fake names with no website. She called today from Benalla country Victoria NSW

Looked like a local number (regional Vic) so I answered the phone. Caller hung up without speaking.

Just another pest that clearly the do not call register is powerless to stop.

I agree with all the previous Messagers. It looks like a Regional Landline Number, which is the Diverted Number to disguise the Original Caller.

The Do Not Call Register is bypassed, sooo our Legislators need to draft appropriate Legislation to stop these pesky Scammers.

Caution Scammer. Caller hung up on answering. I called back blocking my number. The message said I had reached the My Charity Survey and invited me to leave details to de register fir calls.

I did not answer, no message left

Number (03) 5746 4627 calls and then drops outs. Clack clack noise in background so have to assume more call centre scammers. Can our authorities take action to stop these nuisance calls? It seems not. Something needs to change.

More nuisance calls from this number. Fed up with them. Goes to answering machine and never leaves a message.

Didn't answer but persistent scam calls on one of our phones. I too am fed up with this and feel the telcos should be able to do something!

I'm fed up to the back teeth with this plague of scam/nuisance calls. This one came just after 9.00am to start my day off well, and of course the halfwits didn't even speak but hung up as soon as the answering machine kicked in.
There must surely be some action the telcos can take to stop this torment, but for goodness sake will people shut up about the Do Not Call Register or "legislation". As if scammers, whether overseas criminal gangs or local con artists, are going to say, "All right, we'll just abide by the law and never make an unwanted call to anyone ever again." Moaning about legislation not working is like saying that there should be a law against someone burgling your house. Burglars do not heed the law.

this is a fake scam call
could you please block this number (03) they called on saturday afternoon 13/11/21 and they called at 12.25pm and when we answered the call they hung up

Appeared to be a Victorian phone no. when answered, no-spoke

It is a shame, but now because of these scammers, all numbers from 03 (Vic) are blocked via my router......
