I called back number (03) 5732 6763 rang once then goes to busy tone.

I received a call from this number about half an hour ago. When I picked up the line went dead. Thinking it might not be deliberate, I tried ringing back only to reach a message that the line was disconnected. This was just a minute later. My question's this:
how can you receive a call from a disconnected line?
