After clicking across to what sounded like a call centre room (voices in the background) the lady said "I am calling about your internet". I hung up

Claiming to be from Telstra Technical Services. Went along with the scam for a few minutes, they asked me to turn on computer, press windows key and r, got me to type assoc and computer came up with about 500 lines of code, which I proceeded to read out to them until they got bored and tried again to interrupt. I then said I had a warning flashing up on the screen to beware of scammers claiming to be from Windows who had Indian accents. Eventually caller hung up in desparation.

I have received numerous calls from this number claiming to be from Telstra internet, telling me overseas people were infiltrating my computer. They would fix the problem for me. They even told me to ring back a genuine Telstra number to confirm their identity. I checked with Telstra who checked for me. They confirmed it was a scam and not to give them ANY details and just not to answer the phone when that number rang.

Someone called my number and left a 30 second message on voicemail. No speech though, only background office (?) noise. Callback number was given as (03) 5623 1548. Don't call them back as its a waste your time.

This number called but when I answered it hung up. should not have answered as I do not know anyone who would call me from Victoria.

Last night a woman with an accent claiming to be from Telstra and was ringing because my personal information had been breeched and was being used illegally. Told her if that was the case I'd call telstra myself to have them walk me through how to fix it. She told me to take down her number. I repeated I'd call the proper telstra number.

Had her call again tonight and reminded her what I'd told her last night. She continued so I asked her what information was she after - my bank account details my drivers licence or passport number. She got shirty and told me to listen. I advised her that she needed to listen and stop calling my number or I'd report her.

Might be time for telstra to do something about being able to block these numbers on landlines.

Called my mobile several times during the day, I ignored the calls but one, which I answered, but no one on the line so I hung up. Received a call at 8:30pm, again didn't answer. Have now blocked number.

Scammer claiming to be from Telstra calling to tell me that corrupted files are being downloaded to my computer. I hung up on her and she had the hide to call me back and ask why I hung up on her. I told her she was a scammer and not to call me again before blocking the number. Very persistent with 5 or six calls in a day until we finally answered.

Said she was from Telstra and I was having trouble with my internet connection. Wanted me to sit in front of the computer and she would show me what to do. Said I couldn't, my computer was in the fix it shop. Did not understand. Told her she was the problem

Date 29/9/18 14:20 Claimed to be Telstra Technical Department (the usual scammers) calling from (03) 5623 1548. The line was crackly, so I told her if she really was from Telstra, then fix the faulty line, then I hung up. She rang back and asked why I hung up. Told her she was a scammer and to F-off. She then launched into a tirade about how she was going to cut off my internet because I was rude to her. Told her to shove it up her ass.
Sent complaint to Telstra that they should disconnect the number. These scammers are impersonating Telstra so you'd think they'd want to stop them.

Has been ringing for days - I haven't picked up -never leave a msg clearly some scammer

These are scammers. Don’t give them a second of your time. Number just keeps ringing out when you call back.

They have been calling me for several days. When I answer they is no one on the end. What ever you do dont call them back.
