got a call from Milton Graham using this number (03) 5610 6195

Suspect call. Asked to speak to me by name. When asked who was calling was told it was a private call. Regard as suspicious.

Answered the phone got a recorded message that said "we have an important issue to discuss please hold the line for a operator." then it played music and I hung up. If it's that important then it should be a person!!! Think it's a scam.

Previously the dept collection arm of Dunn and Bradstreet.
Now taken over by Milton Graham

I note that they use multiple phone number in the 03 5610 6*** Range

Called and just hung up, Says the call came from Poowong Victoria.

Caller: Milton Graham collections for NAB bank

Ended up calling nab and they confirmed Milton graham works for them doing collections

We have an answering system, so by the time I picked up the phone I only heard music and so hung up.
Thanks to previous comments made by others and reverseaustralia.com for keeping us informed.

Scam call and rexts telling you that you have unpaid debt and they're giving you a chance to pay it before they take legal action , block the numbers

Same thing happened to me twice within 5 minutes. Definitely didn't wait around to listen to whoever it was.

Total scam, do not pick up and block the number.

Answered the call and was put on to a answering machine type message saying it will connect me with a staff member. After 30 secs on hold I just hung up. Weird.

Looked up Milton Graham and tracked them to a group called 'illion' at illion.com.au Gives names and images of 'management team'. Looks a pretty suspect site but if genuine they have very questionable phone approach i.e. caller will not identify who he represents but wants my name. Very suspicious indeed.

They are a legitimate company that processes debt collections. They may be calling for legitimate reasons but not always with accurate information. I have twice now called them to find out more information on a reference number they keep quoting and it's a business that I have no association with. So it's also likely they are calling you with incorrect client file information. If they keep contacting me after I have twice asked for my information to be removed then I may report them to the ombudsman if possible.

hung up when I answered. Has texted twice saying urgent call required. Text had link to their website, clicked it and its a sporting person page.

Calls every day come from this or similar numbers - do not understand why debt Collection would be of interest to elderly people who are not chasing debtors. It is extremely upsetting to unwell persons.

SMS messages display a 1300 number to call back with a message they are there to assist. 1300 1300 663709
also refers to previously known as Dun & Bradstreet and quotes a reference number different on both occasions.
