Had 2 calls this afternoon. No message on machine. Called back and message from Optus that this number disconnected. (So how do they ring me??)

call centre about our computer told them to F--- off!

Claimed to be from some it company wanting to get access to computer

Landline phone has been ringing for weeks with no one there, today someone was there, an Indian lady claiming that I had a security issue with my computer. I hung up and dialed the number and also received a "cannot be connected" message. Another scam. Where do they get the phone numbers, mine is silent and I am on the do not call register.

The caller indicated that I have a problem with my computer.

I informed her that having worked in the IT Industry my computer is in good working and does not have a fault.

This person promptly hung up.

For those people, not IT savvy, please do NOT have discussions with this person and DO NOT, I Repeat DO NOT allow them to get remote access to your computer

Scam call to get access to your computer

Told me I had a problem with my computer & asked that I turn it on. Told him I would go & do it for him. After 10 mins I checked & caller (Asian) had hung up

I think they ping off unused numbers to call us.
I just don’t answer them.

4 calls from this number. Get four beeps when returning all but never an open call line.

Rang twice today, when answered first time was just “air” then recorded / robotic voice saying goodbye
