Hello hello hello, long pause, hi sir.
These guys are so sneaky, they dialling through different numbers and it comes up as different locations.
You trying to sell me electricity is my question and they always say no sir, no sir.
They always call around dinner time.
All a scam and no power saving at all.
Fraudsters.

The guy tells you his name, which is automatically suspect as it is a very Anglo-Saxon name, yet the person is clearly from the sub-contintent.

He then claims to be able to offer 23... no 43% discount from current utility provider.

All along he is just trying to get information out of you (which i didn't answer)

- how much do you pay with your provider in direct debit, when did you last pay etc
- which energy company are you with?
- then he claims he is from my energy company

I didn't answer anything, just played along until he realised I had cottoned on, then he hung up

Hung up on me.

They're genuine but still a nuisance...

keep calling me daily, I don't pick up unknown numbers, never leaves a voicemail, suspect after reading these messages that it's the same scam.

Google tells me this is a call from bendigo region, I know no-one from Bendigo

(03) 5495 4627 are even calling us here at work at a university now. just don't answer if they call, let ring out.

they offered to join their energy company but I never trust anyone who gives me offer through the phone call

In order to save my valuable time I tell them, at the very first stage, that I leave in a shared house and am not responsible for electricity, etc... and they will hang up quickly :) ha ha ha

Called saying ...its about your electricity bill....pauses before call connected, foreign accent...hung up on them!

Called back and said number was disconnected, suspect another spam number

This is the 3rd number in just over an hour. As soon as I block one they call from another!

This number was a missed call, rang the number back to see who it was and I got a recorded message from Telstra saying 'the number you have called has been disconnected.'

Offering discount electricity to someone who doesn’t even have an account!!!! Tried to say it wasn’t a marketing call. Absolutely fed up with these callers!!!
