Said they were from the Bendigo Bank Fraud department and my phone number was on record. Told him BS and I’m not even a customer

Caller: Robo Answering Machine

I answered the phone and there was silence, then a Robo voice goes ‘Goodbye’ and disconnects.

SPAM Call said the same from Bendigo Bank!

Caller: Pretending to be Bendigo Bank

Caller gave my name but a previous one, said they were calling from Bendigo Bank fraud dept and gave the call centre address which was correct. Said there was a $2k transaction going from my account to Patricia Smith in the US and asked if I knew her. Said if I hung up the transaction would be processed

Picked up and guys said he was calling from bendigo bank, a suspicious transaction has occurred in my account by the name of Patricia. He asked if I had known about this.
I calmly said I don’t bank with Bendigo Bank..
Rude bugger just hung up on me.. didn’t even say goodbye!

I received a call.

Said they were from the Commonwealth Bank Fraud Department and that there had been fraudulent activity on my account and "for security" wanted me to verify my account details before proceeding.

When I advised that I don't bank with the Commonwealth Bank, they hung up on me.

Supposedly the Bendigo Bank. A transaction for $1800 for a Peter Wilson in USA has appeared on my statement account. Don't have a Bendigo Bank account. Same script rang 2 weeks ago from another number. When I said this, he said he didn't know what I was talking about and hung up. Hope they all rot in hell.

Just had a call from someone telling me I had $800 transferred from my account! I said that’s funny! I don’t have an account with that “Bank”! Silence for a few seconds then he hung up… the number said from “Bendigo “!

Silence...hung up when I answered...probably scam call.

Seemed to be a scam - talked in another language

The caller called me BY MISTAKE - seemed to me to be a pocket dial. There were males very clearly talking in RUSSIAN in the background.
