Caller: offering electricity pay on time discounts

I'm so sick of getting these calls!! I actually answered this one as it said 'Ararat, VIC' and she straight away launched into an energy bill discount speech. I let her finish and very politely said please remove me from whichever call ist this is so I stop receiving these calls, she tried to argue, I asked again, she argued, I asked again 5 more times all politely and then she finally said ok, thank you and hung up. Hopefully that works!

If I don’t know the number I let it go to voicemail. If no message is left I simply block the number.

ATO tax scam

"Ararat, Victoria" called 2 times.

Keeps calling and location says Ararat.

6 calls in 2 days from this number. If I answer they hang up immediately.

Caller: Cold Call Marketing

I have a brand new phone & number that has not been disclosed to anyone, and receiving cold calls every 1-3 days that I am blocking progressively. When the corn stops popping, I should theoretically have a clean phone free of such rubbish interruptions. This was a cold call I ignored and called back on a DIFFERENT phone. Without saying anything I heard " This is Ryan. Thank you for calling back. How are you?", in an Indian-type accent. I just hung up. They must have a compter generating numbers for cold calls. Somehow, I do not think their intention is for my benefit and would suggest that everyone just block that number on reading this to save yourself another pointless interruption or scam call.

This scum from qld sold my info to these scrums.I entered a online competion to win a iphone so you put your propper info plus I gave him permission to use my info for 3rd parties or you couldn't keep playing.He advertises on gumtree. I got his name & address I'm sick of the fu***n phone calls.

Location says Ararat. Have had 4 calls from them today. I haven't answered a single one of them and they never leave a message.
