Caller: From ‘Telstra’

A lady with Indian accent called me saying that she was calling from Telstra to check if I had ordered an iphone and asking for my DOB and the spell of my full name to cancel it. I could hear call centre type of noise in the background. When I repeated a few times that I wasn’t convinced she was from Telstra, she called her supervisor and another lady took the call and repeated the same message. I said I’ll contact Telstra and hung up.

Caller: They claim Testra

They claim that you have ordered a mobile phone and need your details to cancel the $2000 order. They also claimed they were in NSW, but it is a Geelong number.

Indian lady saying she was from Telstra and that there was an iPhone 12 ordered on my account. She said she needed my DOB. I asked her to verify if she was from Telstra and she couldn’t. I said if you’re from Telstra, you need to send me an email to verify this hacking activity. I hung up on her but she tried to call back twice. I checked my Telstra account & bill, there is no such activity.
Complete scam to get my personal details.

Scam. Thick Asian accent claiming to be from Telstra and seeking to assist me with changes to my account. Seemed not to notice I'm with Vodaphone.....
Let's face it, you'd have to be desperate to use Telstra - THE worst telco on the face of the earth.............along with Boost Mobile (by no coincidence a Telstra reseller)

Indian scammer claiming to be Telstra. Terrible quality line as I assume the scammers are cramped into a tiny room together like battery hens. Hung up after I asked for my Telstra Customer Number and Secret Customer Password for proof. She went on hold for a bit out of confusion then dropped the line.

Was called to say there was an order for something and she was trying to figure out if it was a legitimate order and she needed my details. I always ask for their P number to which she made up a random number not even close to a Telstra employee 🤦🏻‍♀️ SCAM!
