Said they were from Ebay

Said they were telstra giving away a 40% discount

I answered but they just hung up

Caller: Email from mail @ fb02.freshbooks.com

The first part of the emails was as follows
"
Dear Customer,
Your autorenewal of Norton 360 Premium has been approved successfully for 3 year on 07 Nov 2022, 04:37:58 AM of A$ 499.99 AUD.
We are grateful for your business. Please see the table below for payment information."

Then they gave this number as a contact.

"If you have not made this payment or need to cancel the transaction please contact our customer service department at (03) 5294 0503"


Beware

I got this number from Norton 360 Premium via email wanting to charge me $499.99 for security - beware

Has called a couple of times over the last two days. Just hangs up when answered. Have now blocked.

Hung up after 3 rings. Geolocation was Newtown VIC

Picked up the call but did not speak. They hung up. Scam.

They said he is from eBay and said my phone number has been used to create a fraudulant account and purchased a gift card. To solve this, he has asked me to download an app. I doubt it and hung up. I think is a scam.

2 rings then dropped geolocated to geelong

Just a notification of missed call, no message

Said they were from Ebay and someone had bought a gift card with my details

rang for only 4 seconds

Hang up after 3 rings, no idea who this number belongs to.
