Usual b*llsh*t scam message about a court case for a warrant to arrest me because of a complaint from the ATO and to call the tax office on (03) 5294 0444.

This number was used to call my mother saying they were the police and that she had a tax debt that was arrest-able. Not sure what followed from then as my mother was distressed but they hung-up probably not getting the response they wanted. Firstly something like this would never occur doing it over the phone from what I remember I think is illegal. ATO would contact you directly via postal mail and police would not be involved. So I think they were after a direct transaction to their account.
