Very realistic HSBC scam!! Trying to tell me I had fraudulent credit card transactions and then eventually went on to ask for codes to increase security on my account. They even have access to send texts from HSBC customer service, same text chain as legitimate HSBC texts. 100% a scam!!

Scam call, pretending to be from Ubank. Had my details and pretended to be from fraud department. Tried to convince me that attempts had been made to use my credit card but I knew the guy was a scammer because he didnt ask me for the security code ubank send via their app. Played him like a fiddle and he eventually gave up, but will try to get you to transfer money into an account he controls.

Well spoken scammer pretends to be from HSBC fraud department saying my credit card has been compromised with two transactions they say have been stopped. Very realistic. Scammer already had some personnel details and sent verification codes to me by text from HSBC number and tried to get me to login to my banking app under pretence of getting me to cancel the transaction. Very convincing. Recommend hang up and call HSBC directly to verify if this happens to you. 100% a scam!

Claim to be your bank claiming your account is compromised. Say you need to new BSB and account numbers, they try and get you to transfer your money to another account which is controlled by the scammer

Caller: Bendigo Bank Security

They claim to be from Bendigo Bank Security team claiming there has been fraud transactions on your account and that your e-banking is compromised. They then get you to transfer your funds to another account via pay anyone. Don't listen to them, it is a scam. Remember, you should always go to your local branch when you get a call about fraud on your account. The caller will claim you can't go to the branch and convince you to do it via phone. Don't listen to that, you can go to the branch
