Recorded message from Telstra saying my service will be permanently disconnected tonight. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH !!

Scam call. Voice generator saying words to the effect of "your Netflix subscription has been renewed at $79.99 a month. Enjoy using Netflix or press 1 to speak to a consultant." 'That's a lot of money for one month' you're supposed to think, and press 1 to chat with someone, which is when a social engineering attack begins to acquire bank details, CC number etc.. Only I don't subscribe to Netflix. So hung up.
For those wondering about telcos stopping these cretins by way of cutting off their service: they are likely using a VoIP service off-shore. Calls are virtually free and the service foreign owned. Therefore basically impossible to stop. Be clever and counter-scam them where possible.

Received a call from this number. The caller immediately hung up and when I returned the call it said that it was not connected.

A scam recorded call saying my internet will be but off. I dont even use telstra.

Was a robotic voice saying it was from Telstra and my internet connection was going to be disconnected tomorrow. Press 1 to keep, press 2 to disconnect. SCAM! I just waited and they hung up. Telstra would never do this. In fact, no business would ever do something like this!

Call from the same number today ‭(03) 4554 3344‬ Stated they were Telstra and asked me to press one or 2 to disconnect my Internet I don’t have any accounts with Telstra I just hung up

Claimed to be telstra, kept him on the phone as long as I could. He wanted me to get onto my laptop and put in an address, No Way!
Asked him what my street address was, of course it was wrong.
When I asked him if his mother would be proud of him he hung up LOL

Automated Voice called saying my Telstra Internet would be disconnected, Press 1 to disconnect or Press 2 to Keep the services, I don't have any accounts with Telstra! So I didn't press anything and they just hung up!

Big Scammer saying from Telstra !!! My daughter believed him !!! She gave details of her laptop we have changed all passwords!!!!! Watch out they are convincing!!!!

Recorded message saying my Telstra line will be cut, as much as I hate Telstra and don't even have an account this is 100% Scam.

Yep same here- received the call today- courtesy call from Telstra that my internet will be disconnected tonight- press 1) stay connected 2) to disconnect. Didn't press anything and the call ended.
