I received a call from the number (03) 4545 5151. The lady stated that she was calling from Telstra and wanted to speak with the person who is in charge of Telstra accounts which is me. She wanted to arrange an appointment for me to meet with a Telstra specialist to discuss the NBN options for my business. I told her that I only deal directly with my Telstra Business Manager and that I am not interested. She was quite pleasant and not rude. When I called the number back it stated that it was disconnected, so can only assume that she was calling from overseas as a scam to get my information.

Indian sounding lady want regarding Electricity.. Didn't let her talk for long, hung up on her. So what is the good of being on the no call register

Probably an auto dialer just going through a list of phone numbers in series. If you have a phone, which has a number blocker function use it to block the number, they or it will not bother you again.

Every time they call they just hand up straight away - sometimes they call 2 to 3 times in a row and every day of the week. As a business we have to answer the phone but its just annoying that they dont even say anything.

My landline is a silent number but somehow they still call almost everyday. Most of the time they just hang up as soon as I pick up the phone - super annoying!!

Why can't Telstra block these calls? They say they are calling on behalf of Telstra regarding NBN. No law around lies like that?

I say hello and then they dont answer. Ring me constantly feed up with this phone number now have blocked it. When will they get rid of these idiots.

As written above - Telstra guy asking to speak about the NBN and I mentioned I couldn't understand him and he hung up

Missed call from them. Called them back, and my call could not be connected.
Has to be a scammer! Blocked them.

This number keeps calling my work. I now know not to pick it up. When i answered the first time no one spoke so I hung up.

Female who took 10-15 seconds to answer the call she made and then hung up.

Why aren't there laws against these pests?

Asked for a person in charge but I dealt with them directly.

They couldn't tell us much about out company except for the name. Lady hung up when I asked for their phone No.twice. Definitely a scam!

No message, the phone rang, I picked it, I said "hello," and there was no answer, so I hung up.

My home phone is a silent number and I have received several calls from this (03) 4545 5151, including one just about an hour ago. How do I report these people? As my line is supposed to be a Silent Number.
