Blocked my computer and claimed he was from Microsoft Security & he would assist me with unblocking my device - instead he managed to gain access to my bank & stole my money.

I kept this scammer girl from India entertained for a while before she got the message that I was not going to do what she wanted me to do :)
Claimed she was from Credit Card Fraud Team and that "someone" was trying to scam me for $1800. She wanted me to download and install Zoho assist. I just went along and then she wanted me to give her access and control over my Credit Card to stop this scam. Hahaha, no way girl. Then I started throwing abuses to her until she hung-up :)

The call went through to voicemail and I heard background noise for a couple of seconds and then the call disconnected. Going by all the comments above, I would say for certain that it's a scam and I will be blocking the number.

Bizzare. The caller said "Allo, que et vous?" in a french accent, but may have been another accent speaking in french... either way, I am located in Central Victoria and the number came up as from another central vic town called Kyneton... weird. Blocking as we speak.
