Caller: Energy Victoria

The call is NOT a scam. I’ve previously obtained an energy monitoring device from them. It hooks up to the meter box and can let me know via an app how much energy I’m using and when we use the most electricity. It provides reports etc. and can be quite useful.

I did however receive 3 missed calls from this number just today until I gave in and finally answered the 4th call. They wanted to tell me about updating my shower heads. I refused but the operator was quite insistent, which got annoying.

It’s a government initiative about saving energy and saving water. Pursue at your own risk. I did it and got the free monitoring device. The technician that installed it was professional.

Missed call at noon from Kyneton Victoria. I'm based in Geelong. No message left. Suspected spam as previous comments.

Caller: Can't understand the name

Very thick accent from Green World Services. Let the call ring and they left a voice mail and the woman didn't understand that it went to voicemail so kept saying "are you there". Blocked the number

Called around 1.30pm on a Saturday. No message left. I have blocked now.

Caller: Unknown

This number rang at 8 :20 pm unknown number no message was left and as it rang so late could be a scam

After quick search I didn’t answer. No one calls from a landline at 6:20 pm on a Friday.

I am receiving so many calls from them wanting to give me a free device, so annoying. Foreign accent for sure.

Caller: Green World Services

They claimed themselves the accredited provider of VEU program and asked if I need the meter monitor or exhaust fan cover or door seal.

Rang 3 times after 8pm. When I answered, they asked if I had an energy saver installed. I complained about them ringing so late but they just talked over the top of me, so I hung up & blocked number.

Rings after 8pm but no message.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

"Eric" said he was calling on behalf of the government to make sure I have received my energy monitor. Wouldn't say which company he was from. So much for the do not call registry. He called me by a name I haven't used for 20 years.

Caller: Person promoting some VIC gov power saving device

Caller was very rude when I politely told him I was not interested.

Keep getting these calls but I never answer. Never receive a voicemail msg.

Caller: some marketing company

Kept calling and I answered. They have my full name but when I ask them what this call is about as I am busy, she hung up.

I think the company may called AHJO

persistant calling. Never answered
