They were calling from ?IC Partners and wanted to help me invest in the stock market. They knew my name which is annoying, it sucks that these scammers can get our personal details! Anyway - recommend blocking.

Caller: IC Partners?

Missed call. Person with a Filipino accent left a voicemail saying they were calling from IC Partners - no idea who they are, don't care. The caller id was prefixed with 03 but does not seem to be a valid Victorian number, possibly spoofed. Blocked.

Male caller claimed to be from a stock trading firm - did not hear the company name clearly due to loud background and accent of caller.

Man knew my first name (though not my official legal name), and claimed he got my number because I had signed up to an affiliated website, though said was unsure whether it was me or "my representative".
Said he could see I was interested in stock exchange and asked whether I had experience.

I said I was not interested. He then stated "well that's probably because you've never done it before" and I replied with "or it's because I'm just not interested in this call". He asked me to repeat what I said because he said he couldn't hear me. I repeated my comment and said he probably couldn't hear me because his call centre was very loud with other people talking around him and with the loud music playing. He repeated that I must just be not interested because I didn't have the experience, where i repeatedly said "or I'm just busy with more important things x 3" while I hung up on him.

Be wary people. Scammers scammers scammers...Though I do enjoy wasting their time a little bit as it keeps them off the phone to someone more vulnerable.

How about singing them a song or pulling up the audio of a song from your mobile or a cd like the song, ' this is the nearest thing to crazy I have ever been. I was never crazy on my own and now I know that there's a link between the two, being close to crazyness and being close to you.' and if they make any comment about you suffering from insanity say, "no, I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it."

What happens when you tell your phone provider these are unwelcome calls and to trace them? If you had a landline, Telstra used to advise people to leave their phone off the hook, i.e. don't hang up and wait for them to hang up and after that leave the handset off the phone for a certain period of time and you write down the day and time and give that to Telstra. You would have to tell them first that you have unwelcome calls so that they can trace calls when you give information. Don't know if this works for mobiles but you can ask. However don't fret because of unjust people who prosper in their ways, you can also do what they do, and not say anything, just keep silent. Or start playing loud music.

Caller: (03) 4418 1505 from Xplore Wealth

Called my work phone saying they are from XploreWealth and that i signed up to a website stating that i was interested in learning how to invest in stocks (which i did not). He said that he knew where i worked and i asked him where? Then he hung up. I knew it was a scam from the moment he called and there was a lot of back ground noise.

Phillipino (I think) woman, knew my name which really annoyed me. Identified from Explore something company - I hung up and she kept calling me until I answered then asked me why I had hung up like she was really annoyed. Apparently I had signed up online for some stock /share thing which I had not. Which I told her and she hung up on me then. Glad I could annoy this scammer.

Call was automatically blocked by the Truecaller app and sent to voicemail. Accented voice keeps calling my first name and asking if I can hear him. Didn't identify himself, and ended the call soon after.
I'd already registered my details on the Do Not Call Register.

They knew my name and asked me to listen for a few minutes about an investment opportunity. I asked them how they got my phone number and they said their market research department provided them with my details. I told them I have a private number and that I am on the do not call register. They said their market research team is very thorough. I politely told him that I was hanging up and not to contact me again.
