Caller: It was a message DM Here’s a more expanded and polished version while keeping your voice:

Hello all,
I’m a blogger based in Sydney, and I wanted to share something that happened to me recently as a bit of a warning and learning experience.
I received a direct message from someone asking me to check out something and feature it on my channel. The message included a phone number and, without thinking too much about it, I decided to call. When the call connected, it was a woman who picked up, but the line was completely silent. It felt strange, so I assumed the call had dropped and tried again.
When I called back, the experience became even more unusual. Over the next two or three attempts, I was met with what sounded like an automated female voice saying things like “can I help you” and “who’s speaking please.” Unfortunately, I responded and gave my name, which in hindsight I shouldn’t have done.
I tried calling again one last time, and the woman picked up once more, but this time she simply told me to hang up the phone. At that point, it became pretty clear that something wasn’t right, and I now strongly believe this may have been some kind of scam or suspicious setup.
Looking back, I realise I should have been more cautious. It’s easy to trust messages when they relate to your interests, especially when someone appears to be engaging with your content, but this was definitely a reminder to be more careful moving forward.
If anyone ever wants to reach out with genuine requests or suggestions for my channel, please do so through proper and direct channels rather than asking me to call unknown numbers.
Just thought I’d share this so others can stay aware as well.

Most likely a scam. Left a message to follow a link to retrieve a message. NO legitimate business would be leaving a message like this. NO legitimate business would send this at 7:45pm. DO NOT FOLLOW LINK!
THIS HAS SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!

Caller: Scam caller said it was Amazon Robocall left message on voicemail - start of message was missed but rest was "have not placed an order then please press 1 to speak with our representative to cancel the order, thank you". Called the number back and was answered by a male with an Indian accent. He answered as if was Amazon and then was unintelligible despite asking him to repeat what he was saying several times. No purchases have been made and this is a scam call.
