“Hello, this is David from the microsoft technical department.....”. Heavily accented, I don’t think you’re real name is David at all and I certainly haven’t placed any complaints into the technical department of Microsoft!

No-one was talking and I just heard back-ground noise, like it was a call centre. I didn't bother saying hello and the person than just hung up.

He obviously forgot who he was supposto be scamming for.

Claimed to be from Telstra , wanted access to my computer to clear spam ,really dodgy sounding operator from India , hung up

The claim was that I have a virus on my computer and they need to log in and fix it - clearly a scam. I have had many such calls in the past.

The calling number was (03) 4383 7357

Claiming to be from Telstra wanting to fix internet fault. Became abusive after being questioned about Telstra Id number

I called back number (03) 4383 7357 rang once then goes to busy tone.
