I don't answer unknown number. Genuine callers will leave a message. Searched here and see other have reported in-genuine call. Thank you to others who have reported it.

Male voice claims to be from national security advised that two transactions had been authorised from my westpac bank account to an overseas person for medical expenses at 2am today and did I want the money to proceed- definitely a scam because when I said I don’t have any account with westpac they hung up

An Indian accented man, calling himself Alex, said he was from telstra inquiring about my internet services. Told him all was good and so I just hung up. It came up on my phone that the call was from Ballarat. That number is now blocked

Always so appreciative when these scammers are flagged. Really annoyed because this one cam through on my rarely used mobile.

Repeat experience on Monday 4th March 2024

They called me trying to offer an upgrade on internet speed.
Obvious Scammer as I could hear other conversations in the background of different scams taking place. Kinda like a call centre. The person did not provide their name.

Definitely a lowlife scammer. I tried calling the number back from a private number. Automated message said it was not in service.

Received call from this number - automated message left on my messages $900 attempt to withdraw from Visa account. Checked with my bank, no calls to myself and no attempts to withdraw. It's a scam!
