Caller: Mastercard visa

Says they from Mastercard and visa says over 1000 is going to be charged from my card. I just repeated what they said till they got annoyed and hung up. The more time of theirs I waste the less calls they can make to more scam calls

Number reported as a scam by others. Still using this number to call people. Cut call off when I didn’t recognise number.

Fake Visa/Mastercard transaction cancel. Eventually ask you to load remote access software.

"Mastercard department. There is a payment request of $1399 AUD for online shopping. To report a fraud change immediately press 1 or press 2 to approve" -- sounds like a scam to me.

Missed a call from this unknown number this morning, called back a while later but the phone was engaged. On my phone, the number states the caller is based in Broughton, Victoria which is just a remote locality in the Wimmera region. Read previous comments so suspect this number is still being used for scam purposes.

Claiming to be NBN technician with regards to NBN connection upgrade.
Gave correct Street Address,
Steven Garrison NBN 26001 was the "contact"
They redirected me to another Number :- (02) 8003 6925. Which is listed as a NBN Scam Number.

This call showed as coming from Broughton, Vic. A recorded female voice purporting to be from the security department of Visa and Mastercard informed me that there had been a transaction of $1399 made using my card. If I considered the transaction to fraudulent I should press button 1, or it was OK I should press button 2. Needless to say, I did neither but hung up. Same old scam.
