Spammer pretending to be ATO

ATO Scam. Had this several times which is frustrating since we have silent number.
Pre recorded message in deep Indian accent advising ATO have warrant for arrest etc etc etc. Highly unlikely for many reasons, including fact I've recently closed out my ATO return for this year.
Avoid these nasty people

Got a call from this number a guy saying there was a warrant for my arrest. A very threatening tone from the sub-continent. I don't think so mate. You couldn't even speak clearly. get a life.

Absolute scam! Try and discuss with them alternative payment methods and see how they react - its fun!

ATO scam. Guys with subcontinental accent claiming to be calling from ATO office. When I ask where he gets my detail and to send official notification, he got angry and aggressively. Rude scammer. Not even a smooth one.

I called back number (03) 4309 4087 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

ATO scam, my wife received a call from a James Anderson also, sounds exactly like Lily comment a few days ago. He tried to say she owed the ATO around $10000 and there is a warrant for her arrest.

Received 3 calls in one week, left voice message saying I had tax debt & fraud in my name, to avoid supreme court action contact them immediately, do not ignore this call.
Very very convincing and serious.

Called the number back & my phone said it was scam number, then a message said the voice box of this number was full and it could not return calls, check the number or call later.

saying from tax office and i have a claim against me. total rubbish do not reply.

another scam claiming to be ATO and wanting payment of unpaid taxes in retail vouchers!!

claimed to be from Australia n Taxation Office requesting me to call another number to avoid legal proceedings re tax debt

I got a phone call from James Anderson from Australian Taxation Office. and also from this number : (03) 4309 4087 he has (Indian US) accent. it is Scam

Please do not believe if you Australian Taxation Office ring you demanding Money
because ATO won't do that. i work at Finance Govt Dept WA and we sent a letter , and a reminder letter to clients.
