Unexpected call from Gelong - did not leave a message, presume scam

Same same - phone fagged as suspected spam call, another one blocked!
I have more blocked numbers than actual contacts this is really out of control!

This is another call I had to block. I never answer calls from unknown callers and if they don't leave a message I never ring back and I block the number. Everyone needs to be on the constant alert for these potential scammers.

Caller: Supposedly Australian Research Centre

Recorded survey about cost of living, hung up when it asked question on how much my mortgage was, have now blocked caller

Missed call now message from Newton Victoria probably scam

Caller: (03) 4225 8324

Advised that they were NSW revenue department but calling from a Vic 03 number.

Caller: Some idiot

Caller did not leave a message. Now blocked. Why phone back

I want to have a "white list " where only callers I know can ring me, is that available?
Now I know why millennials use Facebook to communicate, there's very little spam callers.
I can't switch to Facebook I'm too old.

I am so sick of these calls. No message. I have blocked so many of these calls. Ring them back phone is disconnected. I am soooo sick of them 💩🤬

My phone only rang once but I recognised previous scam calls from “Newtown” a suburb of Geelong Victoria.
I’d actually blocked this number previously but these scumbag scammers still manage to call and I have a private number!! It’s about time ALL Telcos’s are held to account and use their record breaking profits from us their customers and protect us for which we pay them for a “donut care factor”!!

Depending on your phone you can set it up to receive calls only from your contacts list. The problem I found was some delivery drivers call you when they are near to see if you are home to drop things off, if no answer they take the items to the post office or you'll need to organise a redelivery.

Got a missed call. No message. From what I read, it’s just as well I didn’t answer. Blocked.

Call was auto screened by my phone, tried calling back and number was disconnected.
