These mobs take HUGE commissions from the charities, often 30-40% for the business and 30-40% for the call centre caller.

It is also a common trick for charity callers and door knock collectors to claim they are volunteers. This is just an accounting trick, and the callers get “reimbursed” their share of their collected donations from a different bucket of funds, so they can claim with they don’t get any of your actual donation.

Do not deal with them. And especially don’t allow them to direct debit your donation… they sometimes conceal that these are a 1-2 year commitment of donations.

Any charity with management dumb enough to use this lot doesn’t need your hard earned money.

This number was reported back in 2022 it's now 2024 just shows how useless phone companies actually are

These guys are driving me nuts. They either don't answer or there's some super chirpy chick talking about charities that they are working for. I block and they always manage to have another number to call from.
I'm on the no-call register, but that doesn't seem to make any difference. Supremely annoying to get 3-4 of these a day.

Different numbers several times a day, same "charity" - who's paying these people?

Keeps calling - I block them, they ring back later with a different last digit - rinse, repeat... It's infuriating.

I am so sick of this place.... harassment at its finest.. leave me alone. If I block the number don't call from another one... grrrr

Persistent and annoying, calling few times each day. They are some sort of charity. they are calling on (03) 4108 9449, (03) 4100 0174, (03) 4100 0912, (03) 4100 0916, (03) 4108 9926 and the list goes on and on. As soon as I block one they call on the other numbers
