Missed call on my phone. No message left on voicemail. Called the number back & found it belonged to Charity Choice. Earlier missed call in the day from (03) 4100 0113. This number is probably also Charity Choice.

calls from (03) 4100 0118 - 0011- 0112- 0122 - 0124 - 0431 - 0177 - 0167 - 0174 - 0431 - 0172 - 0123 - 0413 - persistent people. That's 13 calls from the same prefix number 03 4100 in my 8 hour shift today. We are a Drug and alcohol counselling service, so cannot block

This number is the so called "charity choice" - which is exactly the same as the "kindness project survey" that has been continually ringing. They also use other numbers in the 03 4108 range and others as well. It is a philippine based company - scammers as far as I can see and not legally registered in Australia.

Yet another scam charity call. Surely there are not enough stupid people in Australia who still fall for these turkeys? When will they give up wasting their time and energy?

No message left, I assume its another scammer. Number blocked.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details, requesting for donations

Who is ''Charity Choice''? It would indeed be very interesting to know details of whether or not anyone actually donates in response to these unsolicited calls AND if so, how much of the donation actually goes to a given legitimate charity. I wonder if the potential for making money out of peoples' generosity drives these annoying calls.
I received a call from this number though do not answer calls from unrecognised phone numbers. Not surprised to see the number reported here.
