Just got called this morning.
Asked for me by name
Said they were from the Comm Bank fraud squad
They said that there was suspicious activity on my account (Pommy accent) ending in ##### (correct card number
I said I would check. Said I couldn’t see anything. He said it is because it is pending.
he said that they would cancel the transaction if I sent him the code. The code came through from Comm bank. Correct format and actually through the APP.
they called back and when I didn’t answer they left a really really horrific and graphic message about killing me tonight and doing awful things to my children.

Caller: CBA

Funds were taken from my account. CBA called to say that it was suspicious. They sent me Netbank code i had to enter in the system. I stupidly did and they got full access to my netbank. I got an email to say that Netbank had approved an IPhone 14 Pro and to my horror, they had full access to Netbank. All my personal details are out for the world to see. After 3 Hours or more, CBA had cancelled everything and are in the process of setting me up again. LESSON LEARNT on my end but please. if you really think its cba, hang up and call yourself. These scam artist as true to their name, Artist, they are getting more and more sophisticated. PLEASE BE EXTRA AWARE. its becoming a scary world.

Scam! Called me saying they were form Comm Bank and there were some suspicious transactions that they were going to cancel. They tried to make a payment with my card that same moment, and asked me to give them the code I received in my phone (to confirm the payment). They were trying to pay more than GBP2,000

called me at 10 am whne I was still asleep from a long shift and when I didnt answer they proceeded to call again. I was very tired so I declined the call but they again kept dialling back so I blocked the number. please dint pick up this call. if u see the number block them straight away

Calling pretending to be commbank. Very sophisticated as they send a NetCode through the same text app as commbank do.

Trying to get me to authorise GBR $$ but we’re saying they were cancelling dodgy transactions on my commbank.

Called saying they were ING bank. Said, "I had suspicious action on my card ending in **** "(They said the correct last 4 digits of my card). They wanted to send me a text to "verify they were talking to the correct account holder" and all I needed to do was to read out the text to them.
I called ING and they said this number was trying to get a security code that they needed to use my card for an online purchase!
