debt collector

They have called several times today at my place of work. Each time I answer the phone, there is no answer and they hang up after 5-10 seconds without saying anything.

I called back number (02) 9806 2452 reached IVR for Baycorp.

They are a debt collection company. They were ringing us again today using a different phone no, this one 98062452. Asking for the person who used to have our phone no. I told them that they are not the only ones after the family. If you ask your phone provider they can block this no if they get annoying.

They call me at like 9.00 pm and try to intimidate you into making payment on a $13 debt thats been marked up to $950.00 in a month...

I resolved an issue with AGL and told BAYCORP this has been resolved. AGL assured me they will not contact me again and hey here is BAYCORP bloody ringing me I emailed them and told them the debt is false and that I sorted it out with AGL I sent them copies of the emails from AGL and now they are ringing me wtf... PISS OFF.

Slimy so & so's will do anything to cash in. Heres a few tips:
1) block their no/s
2) Buy a loud whistle... when they say who it is, you know what to do... :)
3) But best thing is this IF you plan to not pay them: DONT give them ANY info. Bcos the minute you confirm who you are, they can then log they have "made contact" and the 6(?) year statute of limitations starts all over again. Then ride out the 6 years...

They continue calling about a bill I paid direct to the company that issued the bill 5 years ago. No matter how many times I tell them they keep harassing me demanding I pay them the amount plus extra. They started calling me at my place of work but I don't know how they got the number as I was not working at the place 5 years ago.

Keeps ringing about a debt that isn't even mine!

baycorp detb collection rang twice first time no answer second time took 2 minutes for them to anounce who they are so i hung up one them

They keep calling me saying I have an $1141 bill outstanding from 2012 with Telstra yet I have received no bills, the address they say is on the bill is an address that I left in 2010.... not paying it

I don't understand how they got my number when I have just changed it

Yep, that's why i refuse to pay it.. Mine went up from $128 to $574 because I was a day late paying it. Told them I refuse to pay it... Will change number soon I'm thinkin cos they call me all the f*cking time.
