One of group of numbers belonging to ADT Security regarding alarm being triggered.

They are pretending to be ADT and scamming people. Dont give them any information or even better, don't pick up the call. I don't have ADT security

This is ADT security if you have their alarm monitoring you will want to answer

Possible coincidence, BUT, I set up a Telstra pin number this morning on line (yes its legit) and early this afternoon I received two possible scam calls, one to the mobile at 1.41pm, which the Should I Answer App marked as possible spam, then just two minutes later the same number called the landline, but couldn't get through the Telstra Call Guardian phone system.

THIS IS NOT A HOAX CALL
It is the monitoring control room for ADT Security.
I received a call at 4:45am and thought it was a hoax but it actually was a genuine call telling me that my friend's house alarm had been triggered. Unfortunately I ignored it however he was home at the time so my assistance was not needed. It is now in my contacts list/phonebook so I know should there ever be another call.

Caller: Someone pretending ADT

We don't use ADT, we moved into a property which previously had ADT system, we had an technicial come to the property to reset the master pin on the system --- ADT had our information.

Twice, my wife received calls from a guy with Indian accent claiming himself from ADT, had her name, address all correct.
Saying there is an invoice of $2500 owing which is not the case. So my wife hang up.

10 mins later, I called back to this number (02) 9684 3998 connected to ADT.
Spoke with ADT ppl, confirming there is nothing owing in the account.

Apparently
1. information leaked from ADT
2. a scam group can call you with an manipulated number to make you believe the call is genuine after you do a search online.

To protect you and the family, whatever they ask you to do, don't do.

Yep, it's a scam, ignore

rang three times within 10minutes - long pause before a foreign accented female spoke due long pause it is an o/seas call using local phone number I hung up

I am a legit ADT customer but this is not a legit ADT caller. This is a scammer so please do not respond to any of their requests.

CALLED MY MOBILE ASKING FOR ME, SAID IT WAS ADT SECURITY AND I OWE THEM $299
CALLED THEM BACK AND WENT TO PUSHING NUMNERS SO LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE SCAMMING BAR STEWARDS

ADT security. Confirmed this is their number.

On 6-Sep-23 pm I had a call recorded on my messagebank, I could neither understand the name of the caller nor what appeared to be a series of numbers he called out

I have an alarm with ADT. ADT rang rang me from this number, after I contacted them on-line. So fine by me.

Saying a message about my security. Hang up before finished then blocked
