got a call from this number (02) 9651 4742 .. when trying to answer it..but did not hear anything from the caller.. I just hang up and try to call back this number again on different line.. there is a message advise saying that this number is disconnected.

This number called me saying that there is a free government awareness campaign to help me reduce the amount of tax I pay. Wanted me to answer some questions to see if I qualify. Became obvious it was their way of getting me to buy their products, when I said I was not interested, they hung up. Rude, lying scammers! Blocked the number.

This number has called me every day for 5 days in a row now. Thankfully I work shifts & am a heavy sleeper, so they’re always missed calls with no voicemail, but still. Very irritating. Have now blocked the number after reading all of your comments.

I have been receiving calls from the same number and also from numbers the end with different last 4 digits - The very first time I called back and got a recording like yourself saying the number was disconnected - Since the first call back I did I now ignore those numbers - I feel if it's important they will leave a message - I have been told since they are scammers...

Receiving constant calls from 029651.... I block the number then another number with same first 6 numbers tries to make contact. When I did speak to someone, they indicated they were representing a welfare agency on behalf of Australian Govt and whether I was aware that the retirement age is now 67 and parliament is looking to raise it to 70. As soon as I replied what retirement life is their for tradies at that age with wear and tear on their joints etc, and if you dead before 67? She hung up. A big Nuisance and they don’t listen when you ask them to remove your number from the list....so much for the do not call register as well. Rant over.
