im on the do not call register - this is an 02) number which means they are in Australia - why are they allowed to call me and not check the register - when i returned the call from another phone line - it is not connected, i tried numerous times- which means this is a dodgy number - i would block it from your phone and report it. but that's just me - companies in Australia must check the do not call register. if they contact you and you are on there - they get a fine immediately. i have not given them permission to contact me as i have not entered any information requesting that they do. i am not a member of anything - i did not join any club - and i have not entered any competitions - they have not been given my number from me. they should not be calling. period!!

Caller: Someone from a finance company

The guy said he was calling from a company that does accounts/debits for The Heart Research Institute and needed my credit card details, but he didn’t know that I had cancelled the D.D so I caught him out. I then spoke to The Heart Research Institute and they advised that no one should be calling “on their behalf” and had no idea who this was that had called me.
