Rang me regarding a complaint I made about no service on a Telstra pre-paid mobile.
I ignored the my mobile thinking it was a telemarketer, but then it rang 1 minute later on the home phone.
Glad I answered that one.

This is Telstra calling regarding consumer instigated issues.

In my case, a Telstra Plus Rewards purchase hadn't arrived. I logged the issue. They called back on this number to help me solve it.

They are not calling to sell you anything.

It might be legit because I have a complaint pending at Telstra. They wanted me to enter my bank account card and PIN number as verification at which point I told them to piss off. They seemed knowledgeable about my issue and had some of my personal info and the change I wanted to make - but there is no reason why I needed to enter my banking details at any point.

phone was off, no message left. However I do have a legitimate complaint ledged with telstra about one of their staff members acting illegally and have been waiting for them to call, however the phone they rand is defective and they were repeatedly told to ring a specified landline number. I suspect that the call is a legitimate call from telstra complaints but yet another stuff up by them when they cant manage to read their own notes and call the specified contact number.

Was Telstra responding to complaint in this case. However agree with above as this complaint is ongoing and as of initial complaint call to them answered by an Indian have begun receiving multiple spam calls.

Currently holding a dispute action against telstra for unsolicited calling and initiated action via telecommunications ombudsman. Long story short telstra has committed to only contacting via email……. Except they call every day now to discuss the non resolution of the issue rather than email as they’ve agreed. They truly are the worst company ever

called, answered quiet with buzz for about 15 seconds then hug up, telstra are scammers any way so i do not know who it was that called.
I have an ongoing complaint with them changing my contract ,changing my bandwidth from broadband band MB/s
( 14-16 MB/s: 2- 4MB/s down) on 20/05/2020 to narrowband 40-60 Mb/s up to 2-18 Mb/s down and charging me 96$ a month, now i cant even watch a 4k with out youtube kicking to 420P.
I am currently in the process of having charges laid agsint telstra for breaching federal guidelines on minimum bandwidth in Australia which has not ben changed since dial up.
The federal governemtn know the NBN co cahnged formats and are doing nothing because they are making millions a month out of Australians, so now its time to get this sorted and get our bandwidth back.

Claimed to be from Telstra following on from SMS from suspect mobile 0436 597 000 about a supposed 'complaint' and asked me to call 1800 241 787, another suspect number.
I don't have any outstanding complaints with Telstra but just yesterday reported a scam email to them. Coincidence??
