Calls to try and make you do a survey BS market research twats!
Just hand up on them... ;)
I called back number (02) 9423 5244 reached IVR for a company called Woolcott Research. Said they were doing a survey.Told them I don't do surveys where people ring up and then I hung up.Blocked number. I had a call from this number, a guy called Alex. Some sort of research for Essential Energy. He said it would take 15-20mins to do a survey and did I want to do it. I said "No" and then he asked if I wanted to be taken off his list. I replied "Yes" and he wished me a good day and then terminated the call. So many scams that nobody takes "unknown" calls seriously - at least they shouldn't. He claimed to be doing survey for A.C.M.A. Caller: Apparently it was Australian Communications and Media Authority
Rang and addressed me by name to get feedback on my experience with ACMA however I hadn't had any interaction with them nor made any complaints. Watch me lodge one now!.
Survey company Caller: Claimed to be from NBN
Just received a call - they claimed to be from NBN and wanted to talk about my internet with Telstra. I didn't have to hang up on them though as his connection was so bad it dropped out.
i didnt answer the phone. called when i was in bed. lucky me, only a pesky survey Caller: Survey company
I took part in the electricity provider survey and took the opportunity to express my dissatisfaction on two main topics...Some meter readers from an out sourced company won't enter property if they see my dog who only wants to play and say hello to strangers and the major failure of not advising when scheduled power outages are either cancelled or postponed.
Caller: State Super... they said
Called on a Sunday claiming to be from state Super wanting to do a survey I’m on the Do not call register.
Calls my number daily and never leaves a message... did a Google search to find it is a research company. have saved them as scammer in my contacts and blocked them... however, thinking I will unblock and answer their call next time and blast their friggin ears out with my metal whistle. Caller: Walker research
Legitamit company who organise research on behalf of Woollcott research who work for Sydney Water, councils etc
At 6.00PM I received a call from this number. A woman spoke and claimed to be from Willoughby Council She said that she was enquiring at this point I said that I was not interested and hung up. When I checked the number I found out that it was a nuisance call Called and said was a survey on behalf of Willoughby Council-when I declined, received same comment as above-did I want to be removed from the list-methinks they are dishonest. They rang twice and left no messages and I haven't heard from them since. Didn't know who the hell it was til I checked this site. Kopites Market research Comment has been removed
