Caller: Visa transaction from Google at (02) 9374 4000

When viewing my Visa statement online noticed two pending transactions each for $2 from this number. Bank obviously aware it is fraudulent activity because the next immediate transaction had a $2 credit. Reviewed online statement this morning to do some more digging only to find the transaction was gone, i.e. bank had processed all of the weekend's pending transactions and refused the two bogus ones. I reckon the $2 transaction is a probe to see if they can get away with drawing more. Need to start checking account daily.

The exact same thing happened to me I’m with Nab
, I had $45 dollars taken out on 40 separate transactions -$1 everytime all on the same day. I also haven’t purchased anything from google

I had $50 taken out of my account, it came up as ‘GOOGLE *YOUTUBE SUPER SYDNEY’ . I never purchased anything from google. the number (02) 9374 4000 the number is just a voice mail that leads to nowhere, they are acting like google.

$2 credit card charge quoting this number and purporting to be from Google.
Westpac has automatically suspended the transaction and credited the $2.

Persistent phone calls to our business line in NZ say we are joining a phone call conference. We just hang up, obviously not having any luck in OZ with their scams so trying NZ now!

Google Australia using their outsourced finest to share your details. Essentially trying to increase your AdWords spend. Level of unprofessionalism using these offshore services: 10/10.

Persistent calls trying to arrange phone meeting to discuss how they can wring more blood out of a stone by adjustingyour settings in Google Ads

Very insistent and affronted if we say we don't have time to talk to them.

Caller: It was recording that said we have a call with 2 other people.

Did sound like a scam

I received a call from this number but I had also received a very rude man ph on another mobile yesterday demanding a manager regarding some form of google ad words due to his foreign accent I don’t know where exactly he was from but he became abusive so I hung up on him

These calls are nuisance. After conversations, emails and multiple phone calls after being told not interested the calls continue. Message left robot voice saying something like " get out of the car"
