I got a call as well. I would be very suspicious I've been with go daddy. For 8 years. And never had a call from them. So treat this as highly Suspicios. It's easy for anyone to find out you are with go Dady. So I wouldn't trust this at all. I highly doubt it is from go daddy. It's from a Scamer saying they are from go daddy. It's the perfect scam. Hang up and call go daddy direct

Hmmmm... A go daddy customer receiving a call from people saying they are go daddy, that numerous people on this site have also said are godaddy. The perfect scam indeed! ORRRRR.... ITS GODADDY! In my case they called about a domain that is due for renewal. what exactly is the scam they supposedly tried to pull?

If they haven't DONE anything suspicious don't go around casting aspersions, this website is meant to be helpful. conspiracy theorists dont help.

... or maybe thats what they WANT you to think....!?!? ;)

This is a legitimate number. Just a follow up call from GoDaddy marketing department called. We had a quick chat regarding current and future needs. [:o)

Call type below needs more options.

I actually answered this call and it was Godaddy. They weren't trying to sell anything just wanted to remind me that my subscription was up for renewal and ask if I was happy and if there's anything they can do to make me happier. That's the kind of telemarketing I don't mind at all. That's good old fashioned American customer service making it to Australia. It's far better than a hard sell Asia based type marketing - albeit with some lovely people just doing their job to be fair.

I received a missed call from this number. But when i called back some indian guy answered as godaddy. I told him to remove my number from his records and to never call me again. I have blocked him for good, thanks to the new technology.

100% GoDaddy. They just called to talk to me about SSL certificate and which of my sites didn't have one. Very pleased to hear from them.

Do not engage or share any information with these people. Very high risk of fraud and identity theft

Absolute scam. Rang the number back and the recorded message does say it's Godaddy but anybody could set up a recorded message saying that. I then tried to select an option from their menu but none worked. This is a scam be warned!

I've had a few calls, I answered the last two but I was hung up on both times. Apparently this number is godaddy, and my web URL is registered through them, but they keep hanging up when I answer.

Likely phishing scam. They say they're from GoDaddy, but I've confirmed with the official support twitter (@godaddyhelp) that this number is not in any way associated with GoDaddy
