Scammer - Indian accent - difficult to understand. Regarding accident insurance payout.

Obviously a scam....call received by this number but no message left, tried to call back and got message from Telstra : "Your call could not be connected, please check the number then try again". After reading comments here, guess I was lucky!

Just missed the call and immediately returned the call to see who it was. There was an optus message saying that the number is not connected.

First call sounded like arabs couldnt understand them. 2nd call 5 mins later i answered they hung up on me, I rang the number back and it had a message from Optus saying the number had been disconnected!!!!!

I do not know this number

They claimed to be from an insurance company contacting me about and accident with my car. I don't have a car? obviosly a scam

A fellow with a difficult Indian accent called, mumbled the name which had the word "accident" in the title and then asked me if I (or anyone I knew) had recently had a motor accident. When I said "No" he asked me if I was sure! He then hang up.

We received a call from this asking about "a minor car accident in the past".

Dodgy!
