definitely some sort of marketing thing. a friend had a call from it the other day, life insurance or something I think. where do they get numbers from??

I have this number calling me every other day, when picked up, they hang up. I picked up the very fist call they made re: ANZ Life Insurance and I have asked them to remove my name from their contact list. They didn't call for a while but after 2-3 weeks they continue calling. And funnily enough, the more I missed the calls the more they made the call.

I'm not sure whether the telemarketers are just calling people to 'pretend' to work and fulfil a days' target of how many calls they have to make even though their calls are not picked up or they hung up straight after (which is the most odd of it all, why do they hang up when we picked the call??).
Anyway, just a theory, but they are utterly annoying. I wonder if I can make a complaints through ANZ.

I get calls from this number several times a day. I answered it yesterday & it was silent on the other end.

I have also had 2 calls from this number, I haven't answered either of them, but they haven't left messages either.

Had 3 calls in 3 days. No one ever speaks to me. Maybe I smell?

I just had a call from this number - same thing as everyone else here - I answered & they hung up. Then I came here to check it out & found all this. I am now adding to my block numbers. Glad all this info was here.

Interesting, I just ignored a call from this number, and then checked on here, good thing i did!

same.. they ring at all hours day and night and hang up.. dont know who or what they are but its annoying already had 3 missed calls and hang ups today 10/10/2011

I have received three calls from this number today! The 1st time i answered & they hung up, the next two I let my voice mail get & they didn't leave any messages... After finding this page I now have them in my contact list under "telemarketer" so I know not to answer it in the future!

Today she phone me 3 times from this number talked about insurance and she said from ANZ...who is this person!!! What they want from us!!!

I get a call from this number every weekday between 3:30pm to 4:30pm. I never answer cause I know it's telemarketing, but yet they continue to try and contact me every weekday for the last two weeks.

I have received two calls from this number in the past two days... if its a scam and linked with westpac... i am a bit worried because i am a westpac client...

I had in the las 4 days 4 calls from this number. Every time I answered, they hang up. I did not bother to call back because I am overseas. It is only irritating that the calls  happen in the middle of the night.

This number (02) 9352 3152 keeps calling me.  I have had at least 6 calls from this number today.  I do not answer them.  They tried 5 days ago, too.

This number (02) 9352 3152 is a telemarketer number using. It could be from varius services. It's up to who they are dealing with or marketing for  eg, ANZ life insurance, Westpac, Charities ...etc.

Unsolicited calls from people trying to sell life insurance - calls between 2-3pm - hang up and don't leave message - very annoying
