Thanks for confirming this number. Recently had several calls, which I don't answer, but it makes sense reading the comments about Coles M/card. Nothing like a cost of living crisis to awaken the credit cards to extending your credit spending limit. Will block that number now.

Caller: Claiming to be from Coles credit card

I normally don't pick up any phone calls from anybody I don't know. If the call is important they will leave a message, otherwise it is a noise call.
However, this morning I picked it up cause I wanted to blast at them.

The girl on the other line claims she is from Coles credit card and wanting to solicit some offers. The background was busy, I could hear lots of call center people are making calls, but the line was not clear, breaking a lot of time.

I have watched some documentary videos where scammers located in Kalkuta was masking their calls to appear as if from Australia, they use Christian names and they are out there to get you.
I am very cautious and always on alert.

The girl continue to said this, can you see the phone number, it is from Sydney, I said yes, but how do I know it is from Sydney? You could be in Kalkuta trying to scam me.
I can't see you and all I can see is hearing your voice claiming you are from Coles credit card and you are from Sydney. Immediately after this, she just thanked me and hung up.

Good riddance!

Claim to be Coles Mastercard which is NAB, offering some sort of marketing. This would be very un-NAB like, so I have grave doubts, as NAB has never contacted me this way. I reported to phish @ nab.com.au.

Caller: Said they’re from Coles Mastercard

Stated they were from Coles Mastercard wanting to give me interest free rates. I stated I wasn’t happy discussing my finances over the phone. I have been with Coles Mastercard for 12 years and have never had a phone call before. She was quick to say she would follow up with a man email. That was yesterday, still haven’t received anything. The distressing thing is she knew all my details. I have now blocked the number. I don’t normally answer unknown numbers but my partner answered the call. I was suspicious from the beginning

Claimed to be from some financial services company rather than Coles themselves, offering a 0% interest for 3 months deal. Assuming it is legit and I do have a Coles credit card, but I why are they giving my details to a 3rd party for such offers?

2 calls in quick succession...didn't answer,as no ID ....looked up your site, see that it is a "scam" call from NAB Coles MasterCard ! They need to identify themselves when calling, or netizens will label them as a scam caller....blocked number, but I do have a C MasterCard...they can contact me by email in future !

not sure if all banks uses temporary numbers, but someone called me use this number claim that she's from Telstra about how my internet service's security is compromised. I didn't even bother to ask further questions. This is a scam call. I don't have internet service with Telstra.

Received a call today, some foreign male which sounded like from a mobile, he was difficult to understand. I told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Damn hard to understand some of these callers, could be scammers so I refuse to give information and terminate the call..

So sick of this digital world. Its turned us into buyers. If I want something I'LL GO INTO A BANK & ask about it. Not sit on the end of a phone talking to some random person about what THEY WANT TO SELL ME.
What are people going to do when they close all the banks & take away the CASH. Thats just a Government wanting to know where you spend money so they can track you & gain more tax collections. Dont let it happen.

Says "missed call" but phone did NOT ring. Anyone AND in a particular a Company OR Government Dept that does not have a caller ID OR when phoning doesn't leave a message OR asks that you phone back on a specified number has rocks in their head.

I honestly think this is the ATO, I started receiving calls every couple of days since I lodged my tax return... but they never leave a VM so I am not 100%. The dates are adding up though. people also say it's Coles MasterCard and I do have an account with them, but no reason why they'd call???

Thats not true companies partner up to produce pruducts. In this case its a coles branded credit card backed by nab. Call is likely from an offshore call centre paid for by both.
