As all the messages above, claims to be Suncorp, knew my first name, hung up when pressed to prove they are who they say they are.

I got a call from this number, saying he is from Suncorp. Knew my full name. Said they had some payment plan to sort outstanding balance on my credit card. I told him, that I don't need a payment plan and if I did I would call sun corp directly. and I hung up.
Out of curiosity, I called that number back only to find it declining my call.
Seems suspicious.

I rang suncorp after the call and they confirmed that it was their telemarketing team in sydney

My Security Macafee said this call was suspected Spam.

I told him I wouldn't discuss my accounts with him. He told me to ring suncorp and verify him, which I didn't, it was also a delayed line when answering.

Claims to be Suncorp - said that I could confirm this via the phone number on my screen. She read out a different number than what was on my screen. She then asked for personal details and I said if she could tell me my details I would respond which she said she couldn't and she was only trying to help me get a better deal. I said I'd feel more comfortable calling Suncorp direct so she hung up.
