Calling from Amex according to big payment rejected.

Scam, posing as AMEX.

Caller: Amex ... but I think its a scam

Keep calling asking for info ... but then say I can do 'yes / no' answers so I hang up. Its definitely not AMEX. I told them to email me if legit and I didnt receive an email

Caller: Said they were from AMEX

Knew my name and asked for DOB obviously hoping to scam on my credit card.

Caller: Claimed to be AMEX. Obviously not.

Called claiming to be AMEX, wanted my date of birth and other personal information. Clearly a scam.

Someone is calling regularly and saying they are from David Jones Amex.
They asked me for my details for identification purposes and when I refused they hung up.
Beware this must be a scam.
How can we stop this?

Rang me a few times, no msg left, Called to check - it's answered as Amex. Fairly rude not to leave a message then persist.

Caller: Fake AMEX

Hung up after saying they were from AMEX and that the call was being recorded for training purposes.

They said nothing and hang up when I picked. Soo annoying!

Caller: The Credit Team from David Jones & American Express

Long pause when i answered and between the guy on the other side. Never mentioned his name but was happy to say where he was ringing from. Asking to speak to a person who doesn't work in our office. I politely asked him if i could take a message for him as i knew the person. Then he explains that due to privacy i was not allowed to take a message and that he was unable to be called back.

called me 2 times and each time i answer they hang up....

This number called me twice this morning (one hour apart calls)! I hear someone on the other side but they say nothing. So bloody annoying:(

Could be AMEX but they have called 3x and left no message. I don't answer unknown callers! Will be blocking unless they leave a message!

Indian sounding male
Wanted my security number at the back of my amex card and wanted my date of birth.
I told him f off as I knew he was not from amex or david jones and he hung up.
He rang 3 times within 2 hours before answered the call. If is reading , he should really be ashamed of doing such a low down fraudulent acts.

Claim to be American express, Asked for my DOB which l wouldn't give them. I told them unless they provided me with my personal details l would hang up as they called me, which they didn't do, so can only assume a scam and have blocked the number.

Ask for my details, even i don't have Amex DJ Card?
Verry annoying and keep asking my DOB???

Despite my account being in order - these harassing automated AMEX Robo calls are common! Switch to VISA or MasterCard for a much less invasive experience

recorded message when you call back says amex but it asks for your card number to progress - bit suss and so annoying that they hang up as soon as you answer when they call!!

Bloody Amex call center requesting you to provide your identifications. Just hang up or black listed.

Caller: Amex debt collections

Amex. Chasing a late payment. Why you no pay? You pay now!
