Caller: I dont know Called many times over the past 5 days. I answered 3 of the calls. Each time when I refuse to provide detailed information on (my) Amex account and press them for details as to who they are etc. they hang up. Their voicemail asks that you enter your card number to better service your request.... If they were legitimate they would have a process to advise customers how to validate their call.

So why would they call people who have never had an AMEX card? And why hang up before you can answer? Nonsense.

Nonsense. No legitimate AMEX caller is going to hang up after one ring. If they're calling about an overdue payment why wouldn't they actually talk to you? Dumb bunnies.

Caller said I was past due date for payment and payment of new card fee. I was asked to pay my account immediately but in meantime card was suspended. I have never missed a repayment. Please Amex post a comment here advising and warning your clients. Who ever it is on this number must be stopped.

Again, pick up phone and on answering voice. No AMEX card and my DJ's card is well and truly up to date. Probably an autodialler of some sort, but more than just annoying.
